Reed, I like the second logo that you've posted here. I think it's nice to have the dots representing us as people all in this team, and I like that you can change the colors up and keep the logo really bold still. I also believe it would be cool to have the word DESIGN in the dots, like 1 letter per dot. Also if you lose a little legibility you can afford to make them a tad bit bigger as well!
